The aim of our global Social Enterprise Programme is to promote the development of social enterprise as a means of addressing social and environmental problems, support inclusive growth and sustainable development and ultimately deliver positive change for our societies. It was launched in 2009 and is currently running in 31 countries on four continents.
Building on this global programme, we conducted a research about the state of social enterprise in Turkey, working with a local consortium and Social Enterprise UK. The local consortium was led by TED University and Istasyon TEDU working in partnership with:
- Ashoka Turkey
- İstanbul Bilgi University
- Koç University Social Impact Forum
- Middle East Technical University.
Social Enterprise UK, which partners with the British Council on a global series of social enterprise mappings, was providing consultancy in this research.
