Celebrating International Women’s Day at Beykoz Kundura
The visit will also include a special screening programme, ‘They Also Serve: Scottish Women Documentary Makers 1935–Present’, designed by Beykoz Kundura and co-curated by the Invisible Women Collective and the Scottish Documentary Institute. The screening will be preceded by a conversation with the curators on the visibility of women in documentary cinema history, marking International Women’s Day by remembering the pioneering women of cinema history. The event will end with a live DJ performance by Ladies On Records, bringing visibility to women musicians active during the 1960s, 70s, and 80s.
