IELTS on computer

Take the test via computer at an official test centre. Questions for the Listening, Reading and Writing sections will be given on-screen and you’ll input your answers directly onto the computer. Your Speaking test will be live with an examiner. Results typically arrive within 2 days. You can take an IELTS test on a computer or on paper at one of our official testing points in Turkey.

You will answer the Listening, Reading and Writing sections on a computer at one of our official testing points. The Speaking test will still be face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner or via video call at an official test centre.

• If you take IELTS on computer, you will have more test dates to choose from – and your results will be available in 1–5 days. 
• This means you will receive your scores faster and electronically only, and have more flexibility in scheduling your test.
• In addition, if you take your test on a computer, you are also eligible for IELTS One Skill Retake, a unique feature that allows you to improve your IELTS score without having to retake the whole test.

IELTS on computer (Writing on Paper)

Writing on Paper is a new option for the IELTS on computer test and allows you to take the Writing section with a pen and paper. If you choose Writing on Paper, your Writing component tasks will be shown on screen, but you’ll complete the tasks in pen on an IELTS Writing Answer Sheet.
