The 11th Intel Education Summit
The British Council supports the 11th Intel Education Summit which explores policies to promote cross-cultural education, technology supporting cross-cultural Education and Mobility Programmes in Education.
This yearly, non-commercial event is by invitation only and is aimed at Education stakeholders across the board from the public and private sphere. It aims to debate current challenges and visions in order to promote a successful 21st Century learning and teaching experience.
The 2014 Intel Education Summit will take place in Istanbul, a city with great culture and heritage and a unique ‘bridge’ between eastern and western cultures. The event will be a collaboration between Intel and the Provincial Directorate of National Education in Istanbul. The theme will be appropriate to the city, ‘Bridging Cultures through Education’ and there will be an excellent range of international speakers on this topic. British Council contributes to the summit through the speech "Scaffolding digital learning experiences of English" to be delivered by Ayşen Güven, the Business Development Manager for English.
