British Council Collection in Çanakkale

British Council continues its efforts in cultural and art programs, which now extend all over Turkey, with a new collaboration to take place in September.

Selected by curators from the British Council’s art collection of over 9000 works by British artists, Douglas Gordon’s work will be displayed at Çanakkale Biennial.

Çanakkale Biennial 27 September - 2 November 2014

Conceptual framework being structured on the theme “1914-2014: The 100th Anniversary of World War I", Çanakkale Biennial features 1996 Turner Prize winning Scottish artist Douglas Gordon’s video on World War I titled “10 MS-¹” with the collaboration of the British Council.

Selected from the British Council’s art collection of over 9000 works and on display from September 27 to November 2, the video is expected to be one of the highlights of the biennial.
