Newton Fund is extended to 2021

The expansion of the Newton Fund was announced by Universities and Science Minister Jo Johnson in a speech at the Royal Institution, London, on Wednesday 27 January 2016.

The British Council worked in collaboration with the Middle East Technical University (METU) to transform and empower their research capacity.

Vildan Bayram

Vildan Bayram is a PhD student at the University of Manchester, School of Materials. Her 3 year PhD study is funded by the Newton-Katip Çelebi PhD Scholarship Programme.

"Women in Science Talks" started in Bursa on May 6 as part of the Bursa Science Festival.
