How do we learn English?
In partnership with TEPAV (Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey) and the Turkish Ministry of National Education, the British Council conducted a nationwide needs assessment about English Language Teaching and Learning in the period February-May 2013.
We have prepared a variety of free resources for you so you can easily download free lesson plansand classroom materials; get tips, articles and information about professional development, conferences and qualifications. Teacher Training Webinars

Stories for Schools Turkey
Well-known children’s storybook writers from Turkey (Sevim Ak) and the UK (Sophie Smiley and Guy Bass) have produced a set of stories and resource kits to support teachers who want to develop a love of reading among their students both in and outside the classroom. Learn more. British Council has also held its first ever completely online conference for teachers, Story Sharing Web Conference on 9-10 February 2013.
