Stories from Women in STEM

Many Turkish students choose to study in the UK and experience the diverse range of cultural and educational opportunities available.

These opportunities help students to achieve their educational goals and lay the foundations for successful careers. As part of our focus on women in science, we have talked to four distinguished female UK alumni and asked them to share their experiences as students in the UK who studied in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields – which are often dominated by men.

Watch the videos below to learn more about the experiences of four women working in science and how studying STEM subjects in the UK affected their lives.

Follow the conversation on social media with the hashtag #beingwomaninscience and share your ideas.
