1.This campaign is organised by the British Council Turkey.
2.Test takers who have taken the IELTS exam on paper or computer between 01 December 2019 and 27 January 2020, can participate in the campaign.
3.The campaign is valid for the test takers who take Academic or General IELTS training test.
4. Test takers who register for the IELTS UKVI test are not eligible to participate in this campaign.
5.The campaign will be conducted on https://www.britishcouncil.org.tr . It will start on 01.12.2019 and end on 30.01.2020 at 23.59.
6.One test taker each will win a free flight ticket worth of 2500 TL upon two separate prize draws that will take place on 7 January 2020 and 7 February 2020 in the UK. Tickets will be provided by Libra Turizm ve Tic. Ltd. Sti.
7.Prizes to be distributed through this campaign are as follows:
Two international flight tickets for two campaign participants worth of 2500 TL each (Ticket price may not exceed 2500 Turkish Lira. Amounts exceeding 2500 TL and other extra costs related to the ticket will be covered by the winner. If the ticket price is less than 2500 TL, the remaining amount cannot be paid to the winner.)
7.Ticketing must be completed between 7 February - 20 March 2020.
8.Winners of the flight tickets must use their ticket until 30 November 2020.
9.The winners will be announced on www.britishcouncil.org.tr and British Council Turkey social media accounts on 10 January 2020 and 10 February 2020.
10.The winners will be contacted individually by the British Council via the contact details provided during through the IELTS registration.
11.Individuals under 18, the British Council staff and their first-degree relatives are not allowed to participate in the campaign.
12.Participants will be asked to provide a set of details for statistical purposes within the scope of the contest.
13.In order to be eligible to receive their prizes, all winners must submit their identity cards with the name matching they registered to the IELTS test. Rights of a user who fails to submit their identity card with the same name as found in the campaign records will be transferred to the next user.
14.The same person can not win more than one prize in the campaign.
15.Winners may not replace, transfer and/or claim cash equivalent of prizes.
16.The British Council cannot be held responsible for any problems that may arise due to incomplete or incorrect contact details provided by the participants.
17.Should the British Council detect, during or after the campaign, any attempt to secure an unfair advantage through the inadvertent shortcomings of the application or by any means whatsoever; any fraud that adversely affects campaign results; any ill-gained prizes or participation in the campaign, surveys, etc.; the British Council is entitled to terminate the offending participants' right to be listed in the draw, to receive prize and his/her membership as well as to delete his/her data from the campaign records and to declare another winner. Further, the British Council reserves its right to take legal action against such persons.
18.The British Council will exclusively check and evaluate participants' compliance with the terms and conditions of the campaign.
19.The British Council's campaign and campaign application records will prevail in the case of any dispute within the scope of the campaign.
20.The British Council rejects any responsibility for the problems experienced and any loss incurred in the process of participation associated with participants' personal computers and their internet access as well as any technical issues (slow or failed connection, absence of necessary software, etc.) or unauthorized access to the computers in question.
21.The British Council reserves its right to send e-mails to every participant to promote its products/services or campaigns as well as to confirm participation and distribution of prizes.
22.The British Council reserves the right to terminate, relaunch or extend the campaign and to change any terms and conditions including the prizes at any time, provided that such actions are declared beforehand.
23.The British Council reserves its right to use the participants' names and photographs publicly in Turkey or on any international platform in order to promote its activities.
24.All participants in the campaign acknowledge to have read, understood and agreed on the campaign terms and conditions in advance.
