LETTERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD…

The April 2008 issue of our newsletter brings you stories from London, Budapest, Tirana, Nairn and from our home base, Ankara.

Check our April issue to read about a Turkish visitor to London’s oldest food market, and a British visitor from the University of Exeter to Turkey. Other stories include impressions of Turkish participants on the British Council seminars and meetings they have attended recently in various cities in Europe.

In this issue, English teachers reflect on their experience with our Peacekeeping English Project, and we give you inside scoop on our FameLab competition.

We conclude with a five-minute English test for you to spot the mistakes. Enjoy our April 2008 issue, and don’t forget to send your stories on life in the UK, and your experience with British culture.
