CHOOSING THE RIGHT CAREER WITH ‘GELECEK DAHA NET’

The British Council partners with Mikado Consulting to support a unique web portal for the sharing of experience and information. ‘Gelecek Daha Net’, or ‘The Future is Brighter’ in English, connects universities, civil society and the private sector to help confused young people to make the right career choices.

BIGGEST TEACHER TRAINING KICKS OFF

ETTO (English Teacher Training Online), the largest teacher training project carried out to date by the British Council and the Ministry of National Education, kicks off in Aksaray, with 33 teachers from 11 cities receiving training from the British Council.

Gaye was in Manchester, London and Edinburgh for Christmas and the New Year, and returned to Turkey with much to say about travelling in the UK, some ‘what not to dos’ for tourists, and the pain of not having enough time to taste each and every beer.
