FESTIVAL TO BRING SCIENCE OUT OF THE LABORATORIES
Science will once again be brought out of the domain of the laboratories and will show its fun side to a wide audience in our Science Communication Networking Event. The event will take place between 23–25 October in Istanbul, and will bring together our FameLabbers, science communicators from nine countries, the organisers of the Cheltenham Science Festival and famous scientists such as Robert Winston.

LOST’UN ADASI SIRRA KADEM MI BASTI?
FameLab Bilim Elçilerimizden, Hacettepe Üniversitesi Fizik Mühendisligi mezunu Emre Demirezen, son yillarin en büyük popüler kültür olayi Lost’un son bölümünde karsilastigimiz gerçegi bilimsel gerçeklerle açiklamaya çalisiyor: “Ada sirra kadem mi basti, yoksa baska bir yere / zamana mi isinlandi?”

A whole new experience was in store for 17 young people from Istanbul’s migrant communities when they came together recently to ‘imagine their future’ through the medium of digital stories. The workshops, held in Bilgi University in Istanbul, brought together young people aged between 17 and 25 in August as part of the Imagine Your Future project.
