The British Council International Young Publisher of the Year
Award will be presented for the second time at the London
Book Fair in March 2005. This initiative is an
innovative collaboration between the British Council and the London
Book Fair to identify and nurture the international publishing industrys
next generation of leaders, particularly those from developing and
transitional countries. It celebrates the entrepreneurial
abilities of a young person working in the publishing sector and
candidates are selected because of their existing contribution to
the development of and potential as a leader within, the publishing
sector in their country.
