The agenda for the programme between 24-28 April 2006:
1  Introduction of Turkish Universities (representatives of 5 major Turksih universities will make their presentations (power point, CDs, DVDs etc.) at every British university, 15 minutes each)
2 Introduction of the host universities (the relevant departments/units/centres will have their presentation to show the potential of teaching staff and students to take place in exchange programmes)

This project aims to promote inter-agency coordination to ensure an effective child protection system through developing coordinated child protection strategies in two pilot cities for the adoption of a national strategy. For that aim, we will form a senior level steering committee through Social Services General Directorate and led by the same directorate. To form the committee we will hold a strategic leaders meeting with the attendance of senior staff from relevant ministries.

Description: British Council Education UK Department is organising a briefing by UK Visas on April 5, 2006 for the agents registered on www.educationuk.org.tr in British Consulate General. The even is restricted to RSVP.
The agenda of the briefing will include detailed information about the Visa Application Centres as well as information about the new Visa Application Forms; information on how to prepare student applications; the documentation necessary for the summer school students under 16; the process of providing photographs for applications and the role of agents within the system. The briefing will be followed by a short presentation on the new regulations of IELTS Exam.
