Professor Colin Gilligan Will give speech on “The Erosion of Competitive Advantage: Welcome to the Experience Economy!”
With markets becoming ever more competitive and customers far more demanding and discriminating, much of the traditional thinking about competitive advantage is no longer of any real value. Within this session, Colin Gilligan will discuss some of the changes affecting markets and show how the customer experience is for many organisations the new differentiator. In doing this, he will make use of some of the findings that emerge from his consultancy work and discuss ideas that appear in a forthcoming book.
